Every year, The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund participates in the Ride for Refuge, a bike riding/walking event to raise awareness and funds for one of their development partners. For 2020, St. Jude Family Projects in Uganda is the fundraising partner. St. Jude’s teaches conservation agriculture and supports the community learning about growing food, empowering girls and women and improving health.
This year due to COVID-19, Ride for Refuge participants are invited to ride or walk on their own instead of gathering in a group event. However, people have also been asked to think outside the box and do whatever activity they’d like! Instead of walking or riding, St. Olave’s will be raising funds through the sale of face masks. Our intrepid Sally and Noel Lien (shown above) are offering to sew the face masks, complete with embroidered St. Olave’s logo.
A minimum $10 donation per mask is requested. If you give more than $10 for a mask, the additional amount will be applied to your 2020 charitable giving. Get your order in today!
