During the COVID-19 pandemic
Zoom Bible Study
Beginning Thursday, April 23, at 11 a.m., Rev’d Alexandra will lead a weekly study on the Gospel According to St. John via Zoom. Each weekly session will conclude with a brief online service of Midday Prayer at noon.
St. John the Evangelist is often represented by the eagle because of the ‘soaring’ theology of his gospel account. Just as the eagle, in the Middle Ages, was thought to be the only bird that could stare directly into the sun, St. John’s gospel is considered to be the one that looks most directly and profoundly at the divinity of Christ.
Email Rev’d Alexandra or call 416-769-5686 ext. 3 for information about how to join.
