Martha joined St. Olave’s ministry team in August 2019.
A “cradle” Anglican, Martha was born in Lahr, Germany and baptized at the Anglican chaplaincy in Strasbourg shortly before moving to Toronto. She grew up as a server at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene and also regularly attended St. Bartholomew’s, Regent Park where she was a reader, server and a volunteer leader of their children’s catechesis programme.
Martha has a BA in Classical Studies from Bishop’s University in Quebec and is now working towards a Masters of Divinity at Trinity College.
As a former camp counsellor, Martha has extensive experience having fun with kids and especially loves music and drama. She is an avid traveller, enjoys riding her bike around the city, and is a proud owner of Homer, an African lovebird. Martha can be reached at children@stolaves.ca.
