Darlene Hewitt has been teaching yoga for more than 30 years and has had a personal practice for nearly 45. She has lived in an Ashram in Toronto and studied yoga under the late Yogi Krishan. She continued her studies for an additional five years, learning all types of yoga. Today, she teaches traditional Hatha and Chair Yoga.
Darlene has been studying Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Dr. Marilyn Atkinson Phd., and has begun the second part of her mission, which is to help others help themselves become the person they want to be. Darlene incorporates Time Empowerment Techniques and CBT, along with visualization and guided meditation in her practice.

Chair yoga is for people of all ages with various levels of physical limitations. It is an excellent form of exercise to keep the spine limber, strengthen core muscles and is a fun way to release stress.
Where: Lower level of the church, Ethel Brown Room (bottom of stairs nearest parking lot entry). Chair lift available.
When: Mondays, 10-11 a.m., starting January 21, 2019. (Please arrive early if you require the chair lift.)
